Ward Pest Control Inc, is owned and operated by Jim Ward. Jim has built and nurtured the company, growing from Jim and his father with one truck in 1974, to a current staff of 17 and a fleet of 14 trucks.  Jim and his wife Donna are proud of their company and the services they provide in the DC Metropolitan area.  

We offer a full range of residential pest control services, from rodent control and exclusion, bedbug treatments, termite inspection treatments and warranties. In addition, we offer nuisance wildlife management including exclusion and installation of chimney caps.

We have long been committed to our responsibility towards the environment. In keeping with this tradition, we use Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques, which include identification and closure of points of entry.  

We perform proper assessment of existing conditions, which might be directly or indirectly contributing to pest issues, such as keeping shrubs and trees trimmed back from structures, and gutters clean.

"Carpenter ants had the run of my kitchen and were making loud munching sounds in my living room wall.  From what I read on the internet, carpenter ants are notoriously difficult to get rid of, so I didn't know what to expect from calling a pest service. I picked Ward Pest control b/c of a recommendation on some local forum. The technician they sent was great. He immediately checked outside and showed me a roof/gutter problem where he thought the ants were coming into the wall. Then he did a treatment inside and outside. That was it!
